The driver DRIVE 8-16 is used to
control the current of the D.C. brushless motors.
This device has been designed and
optimized to offer a hight reliability together with a low cost.
Moreover the simplicity in use makes this
driver the best solution for most of the applications in the field of automation.
Advantages:
- low cost;
- high reliability;
- maximum simplicity in use;
- precise, high and dynamic performances
of the current control;
- Custom executions for particular
requests are available;
- Internal braking resistance with the
possibility to fit an external one.
Features:
Control system: PI current control
with PWM system
Facilities: operation in four
quadrants; I2T current limitation; braking resistance on board; control of motor
with 60° or 120° hall sensors.
Protections: over voltage, under
voltage, over heating; faults of the auxiliary internal voltage; short circuit
between phase and phase and between phase and ground; identification of fault
combination of the sensor in the rotating position.
Input signals: device enable;
differential input for the current reference from -10 a +10 Volt; hall effect
sensor inputs for back action of the rotating position.
Output signals: open-collector
drive OK; open-collector I2T intervention, current monitoring.
Indications: n°12 led indicators
for status and alarms.
Data: supply: trhee phases 220VAC;
power
2,5KW; nominal current 8A, peak current 16A.
